You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the HAMPTON ROADS NAVAL MUSEUM.
Duties
You will provide support to Museum Director in management decision and controls for financial management/development activities relating to: (a) program management, (b) program evaluation, and (c) program execution in support of the mission.
You will assist the Museum Director in the design and implementation of policies and procedures within the directorate to manage administrative and personnel-related functions.
You will prepare Performance Work Statements (PWS), conducts analytical support service reviews of all contract scopes of work and proposals.
You will conduct studies of various processes/operations within museum.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
Using knowledge of various civilian personnel/management programs (awards, performance appraisals, and training), and applicable regulations to advise on administrative and procedural requirements;
Analyzing and evaluating changes in program plans and funding and/or budgetary relationships using policies, precedents, regulations, and guidelines of a functional area such as financial oversight, budget formulation, and/or budget execution;
Determining appropriate action office for suspended actions, FOIA requests, and requests for information;
Communicating effectively orally (to include information and formal briefings) and in writing with customers, managers, and supervisors at all levels in support of mission accomplishment;
Establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with professional, administrative, managerial, and shop personnel in order to obtain cooperation, advice, and assistance in resolving personnel-related issues.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
