You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the Naval Safety Center of NAVSAFECOM.
Duties
You will provide managerial direction for a variety of duties relating to management of administrative and personnel services programs for the command.
You will assist with the coordination of all administrative functions within the Command, ensuring directorates and departments complying with all applicable policies and procedures.
You will prepare and submit administrative reports and documentation such as numerous recurring and special reports to the Administrative Officer.
You will serve as the assistant command liaison for military personnel matters.
You will provide assistance in the interpretation and application of personnel management policies and procedures by building and maintaining a close working relationship with operating officials.
You will participate in command level meetings and programs and report action items back to the Administrative Officer for further development.
You will assist the Administrative Officer with the coordination of military manpower issues by analyzing billet composition and structure, assignment of military personnel, indoctrination of newly reporting personnel.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating advanced knowledge of management theory, principles, and techniques related to administrative functions to meet broad program operational objectives and resolve administrative problems in programmatic areas such as civilian or military personnel, budget administration, and document production/maintenance. Examples of specialized experience must include most or all of the following: 1) Assisting with the coordination of all administrative functions within the Command, ensuring directorates and departments comply with all applicable policies and procedures; 2) Managing office records and correspondence for an organization, including the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all presentations, letters, memos, reports, and official responses; 3) Managing, allocating and monitoring financial resources in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, with sufficient transparency and appropriate internal controls; 4) Evaluating the needs within the allocated budget and providing input to the Administrative Officer for the supply needs, services, travel, training, real property, and budget adjustments for the Administrative Department; 5) Assisting with the coordination of civilian and military personnel administrative and pay matters; and 6) Utilizing a knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods in order to assess the effectiveness and productivity of various administrative and technical programs assigned to a Command.
