The position is in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and part of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC). The OIG provides wide-ranging support on all phases of Inspector General (IG) oversight to combat fraud, waste and abuse and encourage efficiency and economy.

Qualifications
You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.Candidates for the GS-12 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position is defined as the following:
Experience conducting analyses of organizational and mission performance, including statistical analysis and sampling techniques, to deliver key performance metrics (e.g., comparative, trend, diagnostic, root cause, predictive), used to inform decisions, actions, communications and accountability systems. Experience utilizing problem solving and critical thinking skills to define problems, analyze alternatives, and recommend solutions. Ability to develop findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on supporting evidence and to communicate orally and in writing clearly and effectively to convey concepts and key issues.
Education
This position has promotion potential to the GS-13.
