Duties
You will serve as the Acquisition Manager for PMS 415.
You will serve a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) who is responsible for overseeing and managing all functions of contracting management and acquisition planning functions.
You will analyze, evaluate, approve and redirect the strategy, plans, and techniques of pre-award and post-award functions.
You will manage contract cost/schedule control systems and reports.
You will develop solutions to problems when there are uncertainties involving the legislation, authorities and scope of the program resulting from Congressional interest.
You will be the overall lead for acquisition policy and oversight as for acquisition pathways such as Middle Tier of Acquisition, Major Capability Acquisition, and Abbreviated Acquisition Pathway.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading acquisition planning, management, tracking, and program requirements related to undersea warfare systems in support of cost and schedule constraints to meet overall program goals.
