The position is in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) and part of the Architect of the Capitol (AOC). The OIG provides wide-ranging support on all phases of Inspector General (IG) oversight to combat fraud, waste and abuse and encourage efficiency and economy.

You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.Candidates for the GS­-13 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service.  Specialized experience for this position is defined as the following:  Specialized experience for this position is defined as the following: (1) Implemented and administered a quality assurance/independent reference review process. (2) Written, edited, or provided advice on work products in accordance with GAO and/or CIGIE guidelines and standards. (3) Developed new processes and procedures to enhance and expand the OIG’s reporting and data gathering capabilities. (4) Analyzed, interpreted, and integrated information/data gathered into a variety of formats such as graphs, tables, databases, and spreadsheets. 

Education

This position has promotion potential to the GS-14.
