You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the SPECIAL SECURITY OFFICE (SSO) OPS (87100) of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.
Duties
You will maintain SCIF documentation for inspections purposes.
You will Inspect each space weekly to ensure the safety and cleanliness of restricted spaces.
You will apply knowledge of derivative classification and how to appropriately mark classified documents.
You will collaborate with various projects and programs to determine the needs for SCI space and convey requirements to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- A SPeD certification is required within 24 months of assuming the position and must be maintained through the entire length of appointment. Declining to gain SPeD certification or loss of certification during employment is grounds for removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Management and implementation of assigned SCIF(s) to include but not limited to: maintain SCIF documentation for inspections purposes; maintain records for classified and unclassified media, IT and equipment entering and exiting the restricted spaces; liaison with facilities for upgrades, maintenance and other inspections as necessary.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
