You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS (80000) of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.

Duties

You will act as the NIWC Atlantic SCIF liaison for all things physical security related with the Regional Special Security Officers (RSSOs) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). You will maintain SCIF accreditation documentation and manage the completion of annual SCIF self-inspections. You will apply knowledge of security equipment and devices including locks, security containers, vaults, and other approved methods for safeguarding Navy assets. You will demonstrate experience drafting Fixed Facility Checklists, TEMPEST Addendum, Standard Operating Procedures, Emergency Action Plans, and Pre-construction plans. You will oversee plans for contractor and government facility expansion, modernization and modification.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Responsible for all matters of physical security as it applies to Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIFs. Examples of Qualifying experience: Conducting site surveys of current and proposed new SCIFs; Evaluating the effectiveness of alarm systems as they pertain to SCIFs; Provide formal and informal SCI physical security guidance to staff and support contractors.
