About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located on historic Fort Liberty in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Fort Liberty is the home of the national premiere Special Operations and Airborne Forces.

Duties

Serve as a functionally focused, all-source intelligence analyst within the Analysis and Production Branch of the Intelligence Directorate (G2), TF 40-25. Analyze all source intelligence information to prepare, edit, and publish intelligence reports, assessments, and briefings related to Chinese malign influence in support of TF 40-25 senior leaders and staff. Establish and maintain close technical and professional contacts with the USSOCOM community, Geographic Combatant Commands, Functional Combatant Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands. Intelligence Community, Inter-Agency, Military Attaché community. As well as allied and partnered military and civilian intelligence professionals to coordinate, synchronize, and disseminate intelligence analysis. Analyze and fuse reports from multiple intelligence sources (HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, OSINT, and MASINT) to conduct target development and understanding of threats.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• This position must possess or be eligible to obtain a TOP SECRET (SCI) security clearance based on a favorably completed Special Background Investigation. Must maintain eligibility for the TOP SECRET clearance to remain eligible for this position.
• Travel is required approximately 25% of the time.

Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
