You will serve as the principal advisor to the the Submarine On Board Training Director in the Fleet Readiness Department of (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA) in Groton, CT.
The salary range shown represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13, Step 10; currently $151,467
Duties
You will ensure the Submarine on Board Training Director is advised of anticipated difficulties that may affect operational readiness or administrative efficiency.
You will supervise and coordinate the work, training, and development of Submarine on Board Training personnel.
You will plan, coordinate, and assess strategic goals.
You will prepare and/or review Submarine on Board Training briefs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11 and GS-12 grade level equivalency in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating the development, maintenance, or implementation of training systems and/or associated course materials for formal program to meet the need of the organization.
