You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Operations and Development Division, Corporate Operations Directorate of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH. Salary Range by Location: Marinette, WI - $86,962 to $113,047 Bath, ME - $98,240 to $127,707 San Diego - $99,044 to $128,752

Duties

You will facilitate the command’s strategic planning efforts, working closely with senior leadership to identify, develop, and implement short and long-term organizational goals tied to business results. You will assist in operationalizing the strategic plan, translating goals and objectives into actionable initiatives. You will collaborate with functional leaders to ensure the alignment of day-to-day actions with approved plans. You will identify appropriate key performance indicators and reports them to leadership. You will work with the Innovation Manager to understand business challenges and help produce relevant solutions. You will assist in developing process improvement work plans, tracking project status, and collecting/analyzing performance improvement data. You will prepare executive-level presentations for internal and external audiences. You will translate complex information and analysis into simple visualizations that communicate key messages. You will provide analysis and support to respond to data calls and conduct research to support executive-level decision making. You will manage the command's triennial compliance and organizational performance and compliance inspection.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing performance data, metrics, reports, processes, or workforce study results to determine trends, deficiencies, or solutions to improve operational efficiency or effectiveness in support of shipbuilding projects or operations.
