Duties
You will serve as MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Readiness Analysis Branch (N1P3), Fleet Personnel Allocation and Readiness Div, Personnel Development and Allocation, Norfolk, VA.
You will analyze the personnel readiness of the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets and provide statistical analysis of manning and associated readiness levels.
You will conduct or assist in the conduct of studies/reviews of military programs and personnel policies such as career sea pay and command at sea designations.
You will develop trend analysis and associated graphics.
You will prepare reports of personnel readiness deficiencies and/or potential readiness issues.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Experience conducting statical analysis and generating personnel readiness reports to assist decision making at the Flag/SES Level for Fleet Readiness
Experience directly formulating Excel spreadsheets to assist in quickly extracting detailed personnel readiness data
Experience researching and examining large data sets to identify trends, patterns and presenting in a format for Flag/SES and Congressional consumption
Experience analyzing operational schedules and generating priorities in support of Fleet Readiness
Experience utilizing following databases: Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS-S), MyNavy Assignment (MNA), Tableau, Deployment Schedules (Depsked), and Navy Register (NVR)
