You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Command Analytics Office of NAVFAC OSF.

Duties

You will conduct case studies, data trend analyses, strategic planning initiatives, knowledge management, and process improvements to provide avenues for significant efficiencies and effective results within the enterprise. You will develop and apply business information models, predictive models, mathematical methods, and linear programming techniques to support decisions across all business lines. You will apply advanced analytical skills to break down complex processes and operational model and characteristics, to provide constructive feedback and recommendations to support diverse mission requirements. You will develop performance metrics to analyze key performance indicators, identify trends, future requirements, and process changes to improve problematic areas across the enterprise.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying analytical and/or evaluative methods/techniques to resolve issues and/or accomplish studies concerning the efficiency/effectiveness of programmatic efforts related to support systems; 2) Utilizing analytical techniques or evaluation criteria to measure performance, improve effectiveness and/or organizational productivity; 3) Developing new or modified work methods, organizational structures, management processes, and/or program administrative procedures to fulfill mission requirements; and 4) Directing assigned analytical teams with minimal oversight to develop and/or execute projects.
