Duties
Organize analysis results of Manpower Study Plans into a standard format for approval.
Develop fully coordinated recommendations and anticipated impacts of Studies for senior leader review and decision.
Conduct manpower studies to support development of the organizations requirements models.
Assess the organizational structure of work centers in the command to support analysis of proposed manpower and changes, realignments, activations/in-activations or moves of units.
Provide guidance on specific problems identified by the study team members to recommend resolution and/or implements solutions directly.
Provide Force Management support to the organization by conducting special management analysis projects.
Develop Manpower Study Plans to conduct analysis of workload data collected.
Lead complex force management projects that are non-routine in order to integrate staff team coordination.
Develop plans and/or procedures to effectively aid in the allocations and management of command resources.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed Secret background investigation.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel is approximately 15% of the time
- May be required to complete a one year probationary period.
- Employee is required to attend the Acculturation C3PO third week from Entrance on Duty at Fort Knox.

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which prepared you to do the work of this job. Specialized experience is defined as Conducting analysis of workload data collected to organize results for approval, reviewing management practices for most efficient use of manpower resources to accomplish critical tasks, Advising on manpower allocation to recommend resolutions to higher echelon, Leading planning teams to review manpower requirements processes, Presenting information results for briefs and/or presentations to senior leaders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
