About the Position: Incumbent serves as the Senior Force Management and Manpower Analyst for the US Army Recruiting Command. Incumbent is responsible for developing manpower related policies and obtaining manpower requirements and allocations.
Duties
Directs installation-wide activities for the command’s manpower management program.
Aids in the implementation of a manpower survey program to measure the operability of command programs.
Provides policy guidance to subordinate analyst involved in the management of the manpower program.
Coordinates with multiple command components to resolve issues regarding the implementation of approved Manpower Staffing Standards and functional assessments.
Analyzes command structure and restructuring proposals to determine appropriate staffing levels.
Validates manpower requirements to support the command’s existing and projected training program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes gathering pertinent data to determine manpower or force management requirements; conducting thorough analysis of current program operations to formulate manpower program objectives or goals; providing guidance to senior leadership on the proper allocation of manpower resources; and analyzing staffing operations to prepare reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
