You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) in the 55000 COMPETENCY of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.
Duties
You will support the 55000 Competency Lead as a member of the leadership staff.
You will execute the vision and mission of the Command and Competency.
You will manage and supervise direct reports to include Competency Supervisors and Technical High-Grade employees.
You will develop, oversee, and equip the workforce to support customer demand for Communications and Networks.
You will provide support to 55000 in the development of Communication and Networking policies, standards, processes, guides, and templates.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (441), proficiency level (2) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: rapidly adapting communications AND/OR networks to new information, trends, and unexpected obstacles; equipping workforces to support customer demands for communications AND/OR Networks.
