You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the BUDGET AND STATISTICS (11100) of NAVWARSYSCEN ATLANTIC CHARLESTON SC.
Duties
You will demonstrate knowledge of NWCF, DoD Financial Management Regulation (DoD FMR), GAO Principles of Federal Appropriations Law, DoN Financial Management Policy Manual and other relevant authoritative financial management policies and guidelines.
You will supervise, lead, and monitor employees and provide developmental opportunities.
You will analyze, coordinate, and complete complex data calls on a routine basis within stringent timeframes.
You will provide support on all fiscal year-end closing requirements and apply fiscal law requirements to the funds control process.

- Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations.
- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Interpreting and complying with Financial Management laws and regulations to manage all aspects of the incoming funding, outgoing funding and closeout process to include review, analysis, approval and completion of all documents.
