Duties
You will analyze, evaluate, and revise Civil Engineering Equipment (CEE) maintenance inventory in order to plan for command needs.
You will perform inventory management including integrated management and control of assigned material
items.
You will maintain records and control over materials in stock, due in, or planned for the distribution system on a quantitative and monetary basis.
You will direct, guide, or review material support programs, functions, and actions implemented by others.
You will provide guidance on or conduct surveys of supply and inventory management functions.
You will make supply system decisions considering more than the status of an individual item or problem presented by a particular supply transaction, e.g., item interchangeability among different equipment or systems.
You will recommend approval/disapproval on suggestions made by users to increase stock levels for components
or subassemblies, authorize significant changes in expenditure and stocking levels based on order and
usage records.
You will establish and maintain requisition outstanding and completed files to control receipt of material by
monitoring, tracking and expediting requisitions.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing item inventory to include supplies, equipment, forms, and publications; 2) Applying established supply regulations and policies to independently resolve issues; 3) Utilizing automated supply databases to create and update catalog records, execute requisitions, and track requisition status; and 4) Determining, regulating, and/or controlling supply level and flow from initial planning through acquisition, storage, issue and utilization, or disposal.

Education
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
