You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Logistics Directorate at Naval Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NAVMEDREADLOGCMD) of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD.

Duties
You will perform work requiring practical and technical knowledge of all container and shelters and special construction/conversion projection related or assigned to the Deployable Medical Systems (DEPMEDS) program.
You will prepare budgetary requirements for the development and procurement of Allowance Parts Listing (APL) and Consolidated Seabee Allowance List (COSAL) as it relates to containers and shelter management.
You will assist in developing the best method of modernizing DEMEDS container and shelter inventory to meet current requirements.
You will develop contract specification for new container and shelter procurement.
You will implement and monitor directives and instructions related to the operations, maintenance, management and administration of containers and shelters.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Using acquisition processes, automated records and control systems, material substitution criteria, issue, and storage, issue, and disposal processes to serve as program manager for container and shelter equipment;
Utilizing systems, techniques, and underlying management concepts for determining, regulating, or controlling the level and flow of supplies from initial plan through acquisition, storage, issue, and utilization or disposal processes to serve as program manager for container and shelter equipment;
Developing and managing diversified areas of containers and shelters, (e.g., items ranging from Tri-containers, quad-containers, X-ray, CT, wastewater, portable water, showers, laundry, latrines, operating rooms, kitchens, medical utility, refrigeration, vault, weapons storage and medical repair systems);
Using Automated Data Processing (ADP) for management in order to utilize database system and prepare management reports;
Communicating orally and in writing technical specification and statement of work (SOW) covering operations and maintenance functions, procurement, lease design, alterations; modification of containers and shelters for contract of solicitations; report on technical assignments progress and outcome; prepare document; provide executive briefs to various audiences, etc.
Adhering to logistic requirements and restrictions for the safe transportations of containers and shelters.

Ideal Incumbent:
Comprehensive knowledge container and shelter storage, preservation and activation procedure at the activity level to support the Deployable Medical Systems (DEPMEDS) program.
Knowledge of specific programs for civil engineering support equipment and container and shelter to provide material support needs for the DEPMEDS program from cradle to grave.
Knowledge of broad range of supply program relationships or significant expertise and depth in inventory management to apply to the DEPMEDS program for container and shelters.
Three years' experience procuring material via Government Purchase Card (GPC) is recommended. Two years' experience utilizing HAYSTACK, MASTER MEDICAL CATALOG, FEDMALL (or equivalent programs) in order to place MILSTRIP orders is recommended. Knowledge of Navy ERP desired but not mandatory.
