You will serve as a CURRENT OPERATIONS ANALYST (GROUND TRAINING) in the G-3 Division, MARINE CORPS FORCES PACIFIC (COMMARFORPAC) of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.
Duties
You will assist in training and integration of Crisis Action Team (CAT) members from MARFORPAC staff and Command Operations Center personnel, and compile best practices, lessons learned, and updates to policies and procedures.
You will perform special duty assignments and staff projects as directed, including, but not limited to, exercise planning, staff training, and development of training curricula.
You will report all significant activities and events to the chain of command as well as other divisions/sections within MARFORPAC Staff.
You will interpret inputs from a wide spectrum of data sources and develop recommended courses of action as they pertain to current operations and employment of Marine Corps, Joint and/or combined forces.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Top Secret/SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing the execution of military ground and simulations training; planning, developing courses of action to address training and operational issues; recommend personnel assignments to the branch head; and ensuring all training requirements are met.
