You will serve as a CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS ANALYST in the DON of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 9.28% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
Duties
You will be responsible for oversight and broad management planning for all matters related to the Marine Corps Force Development System (MCFDS) process.
You will evaluate and recommend programs and systems which fulfill long-term Marine Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) and Marine Corps requirements.
You will perform assessments of major Marine Corps requirements and Integrated Priority List (IPL) initiatives having far-reaching impact upon the mission and operations of USMC forces.
You will analyze and advise on the impact of the POM and program review actions on the current fiscal year.
You will serve as the command's subject matter expert on Doctrine, Organization, Training and Education, Material, Leadership and Communication Synchronization, Personnel, Facilities-Cost (DOTMLPF-C) and DOTMLPF-Policy.
You will be prepared to brief (both via written and verbal means) Commander, MARFORPAC, Deputy Commander, Executive Commander, Executive Director, Chief of Staff, Assistant Chiefs of Staff, and the Capabilities and Requirements Branch Head.
You will coordinate, organize, and evaluate MARFORPA and all subordinate command inputs and responses to develop a coherent and unified position. recommendation package.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: administrative operations; coordinate staff tasks and provide technical subject matter expertise; training systems, intelligence systems, weapons, vehicles, support equipment, communication systems, sensors, supporting activities.
