You will serve as a DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONAL ASSESSMENT in the US MARINE FORCES PACIFIC, CAMP HM SMITH, HI of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.
Duties
You will design and execute structured war games.
You will perform methods development and assessment, utilizing expert knowledge of particular classes of problems and the ability to develop associated problem-solving methods.
You will advise other operations research, engineers, and assessment personnel on techniques best suited for analyzing their problems.
You will conduct problem solving exercises involving the ability to work directly to correct deficiencies or improve the performance of systems, processes, or operations.
You will assess the validity of assumptions, overall design, effects synchronization, and progress toward objectives and end-states.
You will advise and assist the Commander in all matters pertaining to resource management, business performance management, fiscal compliance and strategic sourcing and business reform programs.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires frequent temporary additional duty (TAD) travel, both internationally and to CONUS.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical expertise and managerial oversight to meet agency mission objectives to include; advise senior officials in management and execution of command intelligence, counter intelligence and planning and support of operational forces; assessing activity design and alignment; design and execute war games; supervise the planning and execution of command-wide assessment, development of methodologies and utilizing metrics to measure effectiveness.
