About the Position: This position is a TEMP Appointment Not-to-Exceed 30 SEP 2025. Incumbent serves in the DPTMS, Deployment and Mobilization Division, facilitating preparation for deployment and redeployment for units redeploying through USAG Fort Bliss, TX.

Duties
Serves as a functional expert in administrative support throughout the DMD and ensures the sections are able to carry out their projects in the most efficient and productive manner for the deployment and redeployment mission.
Completes, processes, and manages all maintenance work orders for the DMD sections for center facilities through DPTMS, DMD Facilities Manager.
Develops and implements a program of management review, appraisal, and improvement using detailed procedures and guidelines to augment established regulations.
Oversees the life safety, utility management, and energy conservation programs for the DMD sections.
Conducts cyclic and periodic supply, vehicle, and facility inspections.
Conducts conference calls with DMD facilities manager, section personnel, and DPW contractors to discuss maintenance requirements, contractor quality control plan, time constraints, safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This is a Temporary position intended to last 30 SEP 2025. A temporary position may be extended to a maximum of three years and may be terminated at any time during the duration of the appointment, depending upon the needs of management.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Planning and coordinating the management of equipment, supplies, and vehicles for logistical operations; AND
2) Managing maintenance works orders to support mission in various areas; AND
3) Conducting inspections of supplies, vehicles, and facilities.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
