Duties

You will perform material handling functions of receiving, issuing, storing, segregating, selecting, handling, prepping, inventorying, and shipping ordinance. You will use automated information systems and maintains an accurate inventory of assets. You will provide cross training in functional areas to lower level employees. You will ensure cargo is secured per military standard loading drawings and procedures. You will receive and offload ordnance materials from trucks, rail cars, vessels, MILVAN's and other conveyances.

Developing proficiency in forklift operations such as starting, stopping, backing, and driving through narrow aisles in buildings, up and down ramps and in and out of trucks, vessels, and other conveyances. Reading and comprehending frequently used agency regulations or practices covering standard, routine blocking and bracing procedures.
