You will serve as a RANGE SUSTAINMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL CAPABILITIES COORDINATOR in the Range and Training Area Management Branch of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

Duties

You will plan and coordinate the development and execution of an institutional-level range and training area environmental and encroachment program for both ground and aviation range operations. You will manage the Service’s Range Complex Management Plan (RCMP) program and schedule, ensuring RCMP drafts are properly staffed before being finalized, and properly distributed upon finalization. You will provide technical assistance and guidance to field commanders, installations and organizations on Marine Corps policy for matters pertaining to RTAM sponsored programs

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to possess a current valid United States driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating the development and execution of a range and training area environmental and encroachment program for ground and aviation range operations as well as managing the range sustainment program.
