This position is located in the Division of Finance, Controller, Financial Systems, of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of accounting, financial, and employee services. Duties

Support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of NFE (FDIC’s ERP financial system), by collaboratively determining and implementing NFE system functional, configuration, or data changes. Participate in NFE system related projects, including NFE application upgrades, special system projects improve processes and increase efficiency, and major corporate system projects impacting the NFE. Conduct NFE functional and technical testing and identify and resolve system production issues. Prepare presentations and briefing materials for management; Develop or revise business requirements, training materials, and other system documentations. Maintain effective working relationships with business user groups and IT teams including contractors, support efficient applications operations and resolve system issues; Provide functional and technical systems training for system users.

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 11 grade level or above in the Federal service.  Specialized experience is defined as experience performing system analysis during the implementation of enterprise financial systems such as Oracle PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP FI, or Workday Financials. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
