Duties
Serves as the Deputy Director for the Directorate of Training, Doctrine and Proponency (DOTD-P) concerning Army and Joint capability development processes, and doctrine, organization,
training, materiel, leader development, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTMLPF-P) integration subject matter expert for coordination and planning in support of directed Army Special Operation Forces (ARSOF) operations.
Plans, coordinates, and manages all matters pertaining to the welfare, well-being and effectiveness of the directorate.
Integrates the training management requirements and development processes that comprise analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) of training and doctrine programs for Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
- TDY travel 10% of the time.
- Drug Testing required.
- one-year probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes organizing, integrating, and leading the development of training, doctrine, leader development and education and personnel proponent (DOTD-P) programs and activities to includes the integrations of doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leader development, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTMLPF-P) factors into the management of a military or civilian workforce. Experience with training and education resource development and the applicable analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE) of those programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
