You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the LIVE VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTIVE TRAINING DIVISION, RANGE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.

Duties

You will serve as a Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program Management Financial Specialist in the Program Management Branch. You will analyze financial processes and advise management of recommended changes in policies and requirements to ensure the program is in compliance with established policies, procedures, instructions, and directives. You will identify, collect, and analyze Program Level Financial Metrics for internal and external reporting. You will prepare and analyze budget estimates and support documents in Fleet Sponsor and OPNAV formats, and coordinate and collect data and information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). You will lead the execution of program requirements forecasting, budgeting, cost reduction efforts, and risk management. You will perform internal audits on local business processes and associated records management compliance. You will monitor, track, and report completion of Program Management Finance and command finance deliverables to ensure they meet requirements.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
