You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the PERF OPS & SUPT BR, FRCMA A/C DEPT of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.

Duties

You will conduct analytical searches of database files (e.g., financial registers, supply history transactions, supply financial exceptions) to determine trends. You will develop written material documenting results of statistical or analytical studies for manager review. You will analyze an organization or management function to identify processes or procedures to improve organizational structure. You will brief senior leaders on audits, investigations, and inspections to maintain compliance with manning regulations, policies, and directives. You will use mathematical and statistical methods to compare and project quantitative data. You will conduct process improvement analysis to identify organizational weaknesses.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position requires rotating shift work.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing comprehensive independent analytical studies, characterized by independent adaptation and judgements leading to improved management processes. 2) Conducting fact-finding of identified problem areas which may include document flow analysis, work distribution, task analysis and statistical analysis in order to optimize use of equipment and manpower. 3) Determining appropriate method of measurement and working directly with the command to determine factors that would improve personnel processes. 4) Working with the Lead Business Financial Manager to prepare actual and projected financial estimates in support of Command's budget goals and objectives.
