About the Position: You will serve as the Knowledge Management Program Manager (KM PgM) for North Atlantic Division (NAD) planning, developing and implementing KM PgM strategies, policies and procedures throughout the Region.
Duties
Providing the framework for capturing, harnessing and exploiting intellectual capital.
Allowing for improvement of individual and organizational performance.
Identifying KM PgM best practices and establishing methodologies to incorporate best practices within the command.
Serving as a regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the NAD Business Management Division (BMD), in the development of regional business processes essential to Business Center operations.
Interpreting and improving guidance and development for strategic initiatives for the region.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Specialized Experience:
I have one year of specialized experience which includes meeting all of the following: 1) Managing program plans to develop and implement strategies, and policies and procedures throughout the agency/organization; 2) Providing expert level advice to senior leaders in the development of regional business processes and information applications essential to Regional Business Center (RBC) operations (i.e. Project Delivery Business Process (PDBP), agency operating budgets, fiscal policy operations, etc); 3) Collaborating and communicating both internally and externally in the organization on feasibility of Knowledge Management systems, approaches or proposals that affect agency policies and objectives.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
