You will serve as a TARGETING PLANNER in the HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will research, coordinate, and plan the most effective targeting for all domain fires against CDRUSINDOPACOM priority target sets.
You will manage targeting aspects of theater integrated joint fires planning, to include rules of engagement, target selection, attack policy, and command guidance for maneuver of operational forces to enable critical fires.
You will coordinate with Targeting Operations Team to improve support to integrated Joint fires process.
You will review, refine, and continuously update standing target folders to understand the most urgent threats, their key vulnerabilities, and anticipated order of battle when facing Joint and Coalition forces operating throughout the lndo-Pacific.

- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following:
Demonstrating experience in Joint Targeting Cycle planning, execution, and assessment using knowledge of Joint Fires Targeting planning, policies, processes, and procedures;
Managing integrated Joint targeting plans to ensure that targeting in support of crisis and contingency planning provide optimum targets;
Providing technical advice and administrative guidance regarding policies, procedures, and problem resolution for Target Plan activities;
Working experience with Joint Campaign, Contingency, and Crisis Action Planning processes and procedures;
Demonstrating knowledge of military command structure, military staff organization, and operations at a Combatant Command or equivalent strategic-level organization
