You will serve as the DIRECTOR OF STAFF FOR JOINT TRAINING & EXCERCISES within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will develop, implement and manage joint training and exercise plans, programs and policies.
You will provide oversight of all facets of the Directorate.
You will serve as the Director of Staff for Training and Exercises Directorate.
You will collaborate and plan with other commands and supporting organizations to decide on, coordinate, and/or integrate organizational operations and needs.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Directing and managing major aspects of staff activities, operations, programs, and processes.
2) Planning, organizing, and supervising detailed operations for training and exercises organization at a combatant command.
3) Coordinating activities and information flow between staff , higher headquarters, and subordinate commands.
4) Overseeing the overall planning, direction and timely execution of Joint training and exercise programs.
5) Providing expert advice and supervisory oversight of the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution (PPBE) of major Service and Joint programs.
