About the Position: Works under general supervision of the Chief, Infantry Quality Assurance (QA) Element (IQAE), who conducts regular discussions with incumbent regarding status of training operations, programs, resource matters, or workload problems.

Duties

Provide input to the development and evaluation of training materials. Advocate, develop, or revise policy, doctrine, planning, and program changes based on data analysis. Make recommendations for revision or improvement to training aids, student workbooks, technical manuals, or other materials. Conduct research and analysis to determine training improvement strategies.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
• This position requires a pre-placement medical and annual medical surveillance exam in accordance with Occupational Health requirements.
• This position requires that the employee routinely travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time. Flight in Army aircraft is a requirement of this position.
• This position will may require the employee to work both scheduled and unscheduled evenings, weekends, and/or overtime, as needed to meet mission requirements.
• Work involves physical activity: prolonged standing while observing instruction/ training, extended walk over varying terrain in all climate, and observe/evaluate training.
• Must be able to concentrate for long periods of time. Work requires extensive reading, writing and cognitive skills.
