You will serve as a Supply System Analyst in the Advanced Traceability and Control (ATAC) operation of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.

Duties

You will enter data into multiple databases, based such as Electronic Retrograde Management System (ERMS), Air Clearance Authorities (ACA), Automated Export System (AES),Financial and Air Clearance Transportation and (FACT) and others You will conducts extensive searches for information pertaining to a wide variety of commodities received and shipped, includes unusual supply/transportation transactions You will use supply and transportation regulations/policies to perform continuing assignments and special reports. You will knowledge of governing supply/transportation regulations policies and procedures.

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates applying knowledge of supply and transportation regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the Advanced Traceability and Control (ATAC) operation. Utilize a variety of supply and transportation Automated Information Systems, such as GFM, ERMS, Syncada, Shipment Manager, NAVAIR Engine Database, and Navy ERP, to provide supply and transportation operational support and conduct extensive and exhaustive searches in order to reconstruct and resolve supply/transportation transactions. My experience includes determining transportation needed for expedited items as well as locating the most cost effective carrier, within shipping lanes for on time delivery. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Utilizes a thorough knowledge of supply and transportation regulations/policies to perform continuing assignments preparing recurring and special reports and compiling statistics from data requiring analysis to take corrective action of transactions;2) Considered to be an expert in MS suite to include creating pivot tables to analyze and present data;3) Assist ATAC internal and external customers, preparing and ensuring appropriate transportation documentation including (Import/Export) Customs, Shipping labels, AGRs (American Goods Returns, and HAZMAT when required);4) Ensure accuracy of data entry into multiple databases such as Electronic Retrograde Management System (ERMS), Air Clearance Authorities (ACA), Automated Export System (AES), Financial and Air Clearance Transportation (FACT) and Cargo Movement Operations System (CMOS) on conclusions from queries of numerous programs; 5) Investigate and analyze the delays and errors between Redistribution Orders (RDO) ship date, receive date and quantity at the ATAC HUB; and 6) Monitor the Quality Control Plan within the ATAC System, investigating problems as they occur, responding to customer complaints and recommending corrective actions and resolutions. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree
or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
