About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Duties

Execute supervisory responsibilities for assigned subordinate personnel. Supervises production, planning and control, shop supply section and quality assurance. Responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, managing, and reviewing all actions concerned with the operation and conduct of the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) Prepares and presents maintenance reports, reviews and and/or determines effectiveness of applicable management information systems

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
