About the Position: Serves as Program Services Analyst in direct support of the accomplishment of the mission and functions of the Information Systems Directorate performing duties related to providing advice and guidance, and researching to identify and develop program, administrative, equipment, manpower, and funding requirements for CASCOM Automated Systems Programs.
Duties
Provides advice and guidance, and researching to identify and develop program, administrative, equipment, manpower, and funding requirements for CASCOM Automated Systems Programs.
Coordinates suspense dates, assures project completion, reviews input, modifies as necessary, and secures coordination of all parties for assigned projects.
Plans and independently develops analytical methods and detailed study procedures for projects involving resourcing for numerous multifunctional doctrinal systems development programs.
Participates in planning and developing overall approach to studies and participates in decision making processes pertaining to problems encountered and makes recommendations for appropriate actions.
Serves as a buffer between the Deputy Director and subordinate staff personnel by providing accurate, timely advice on procedures, reports, requirements, and other necessary matters.
Serves on working groups consisting of project officers, and senior analyst in examining tasking and developing procedures and requirements to achieve stated goals.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes participating in personnel matters associated with the administration and management of the civilian and military work force; maintaining statistical information, charts, and narratives for briefings; and evaluating policies and procedure for the management of administrative and logistical activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Human Capital Management, Finance.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
