About the Position: Serves as the senior civilian supervisor in the Directorate of Enterprise Systems Directorate (ESD), and Technical Advisor to the CASCOM Commander, CDI Director, Enterprise Systems Director, delegated authority for full participation and direction of the activities of the directorate consisting of high ranking professional military officers and civilian logistics automation architecture and communications experts.
Duties
Provide administrative program direction to various subordinate commanders, directors, and/or their staffs.
Assure equity of performance standards and/or rating techniques.
Develop a master plan for logistic automation that will guide system development for all echelons with an improved set of performance criteria.
Analyse logistics communications involving an improved set of performance criteria for the logistics automation systems function together within the parameters set forth in the design.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position requires pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience performing a wide range of complex administration functions in logistics software/automation. Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software development; such as GCSS-Army, G Army and LMP (Logistics Modernization Program) and associated systems/subsystems, software acquisition and costing. Develop policy, resolve daily operational issues, provide advice and guidance to supervisors and other subordinate military or civilian staff. Provide supervision, oversight, coordination, and integration of complex FFID programs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
