About the Position: Serves as the Chief, Business Management Office/Advisor to the Executive Director of the Army Contracting Command - Orlando (ACC-ORL) and subordinate Divisions for Resource Management.

Duties

Responsible for budget formulation, to include Operations and Maintenance, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Defense Acquisition Workforce Development Account, and other appropriated funds received. Analyzes program/fund guidance and formulates plans, policies, objectives, etc. Develops broad plans and objectives that include the development/establishment of overall criteria upon which long-range plans can be based for the financing of organizational activities. Executes fund control responsibilities in administering/executing approved budgets to include certifying funds availability on obligation documents. Reviews program compliance with legislative programs for which funds were appropriated. Monitors budget levels to ensure legal/efficient use of funding. Develops performance standards/objectives, ensuring the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to employees and integrated into standards/objectives. Evaluates and formally rates the work performance of subordinates, and gives advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both technical and administrative matters.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This is a DoD Financial Management Level 3 Certified position. Incumbent is required to obtain Financial Management Level 3 certification within 24 months of occupying the position.
  • This is a supervisory position. A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • Secret Clearance
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
