As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position serves as a District Facilities Manager (DFM) within ATO, Technical Operations, Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) GNAS Group, WCS3-DAL.
Duties
Manages and directs a highly technical workforce found in specific Districts consisting of numerous System Support Centers (SSCs) of varying size, type, and complexity. Directs the maintenance and operations within the District. Area may extend beyond state boundaries and include regional, national, and international operations.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
- A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.
- Some, all or none of the eligible and qualified applicants may be interviewed.
- Please ensure an SF-50 is uploaded. The SF-52 is not an acceptable document.
- PCS will be paid IAW FAA Travel Policy.
Qualifications
To qualify at the FV-K (GS/FG-15) level you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-J (GS/FG-14) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience: is technical experience gained in positions within organizations that are responsible for design, development, operations, maintenance performance and evaluation of the NAS.
