As a Program Manager at the GS-0340-15, you will be part of Retirement Services, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will serve as principal manager overseeing Court ordered benefit matters for the Retirement Services Program. This is includes overseeing the implementation and application of operating policies, interim systems, and operations.
Duties
Planning, developing, initiating, and evaluating operating processes.
Developing and recommending specific actions to resolves issues.
Planning, developing, and evaluating group operations.
Identifying effective, efficient, and economical control of operations and functions.
Determining program goals, objectives, and worked plans.
Qualifications
For the GS 15: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the federal service (obtained in either private or public sector) that includes:
1. Planning, developing, initiating, and evaluating operating processes to ensure effective and efficient control of operations and functions; and
2. Developing new guidelines to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness; and
3. Evaluating group operations to ensure optimal team performance; and
4. Coordinating program efforts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful program execution.
Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS15 level.
