As a Program Manager at the GS-0340-15, you will be part of Retirement Services, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for development, execution and oversight of activities to include funding, contracting and personnel management.
Duties
Establishing work places, setting goals, objectives, schedules and priorities.
Identifying effective, efficient, and economical control of operations and functions.
Conveying project goals; oversees their efforts towards achieving those goals.
Managing workload of front office staff, program analysts, telecommunication specialists, and telework activities through a subordinate supervisor.
Assuring sound project management concepts and principles are used consistently in managing projects areas of responsibility.
Qualifications
For the GS 15: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the federal service (obtained in either private or public sector) that includes:
Managing projects, ensuring the consistent application of sound project management concepts and principles; and
Establishing work plans, setting goals and objectives, and determining schedules and priorities; and
Ensuring preparation and issuance of tasking, projects, integrated staffing, cost and reports; and
Coordinating technology and business transformation activities.
Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS-14 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS15 level.
