Serves as a Visual Information Specialist responsible for project planning, technical expertise, policy, and creative development for visual info, for graphics designs in digital and print formats, illustrations, logos, concepts, publications, brochures, pamphlets, infographics, template development, PDF formatting, charts, fact sheets, reports, signs, posters, banners, exhibits, newsletters, PowerPoint, multimedia presentations, templates for the web, social media, and website designs.

Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include: Planning, coordinating, or managing the preparation and use of various kinds of visuals for use in communicating visual information. Managing information design, communication, and graphic design principles, using current versions of Adobe Creative Suite to develop print media and interactive web-based visuals.  Coordinating priorities, addressing customer concerns, or managing the day-to-day operations of visual analysis/production/information design. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Communications and Media - Knowledge of the production, communication and dissemination of information and ideas to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media. Contracting/Procurement - Knowledge of various types of contracts, techniques, or requirements (for example, Federal Acquisitions Regulations) for contracting or procurement, and contract negotiation and administration. Customer Service  - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
