This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorist and Financial Intelligence - Intelligence Analysis. As a Supervisory Visual Information Specialist, you will serve as the Supervisory Visual Information Specialist and reports directly to the Director of Analytic and Production Services (APS).

Duties

Pursuant to 50 USC 3024 (v), and with concurrence and consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, this position is being established in the excepted service as an element of the Intelligence Community within the Department of the Treasury. As a Supervisory Visual Information Specialist, you will: Supervise and/or draft, coordinate, and update internal procedures and policies to improve OIA visual analytic initiatives. Anticipate and address emerging areas for improving OIA's communications. Ensure that visual analysis staff regularly meets established deadlines, and the products are ultimately responsive to the needs of the customers.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-14 is one year (52 weeks) of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or equivalent, which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes at least 3 of the following: -Overseeing visual analysts who produce visual information for print and online uses, including the design, creation, and preparation of support visuals, infographics, charts, graphs, maps, process charts, illustrations, page layouts, and related content; OR -Planning, coordinating or managing the preparation and use of various kinds of visuals for use in communicating visual information; OR -Managing information design, communication and graphic design principles, using current versions of Adobe Creative Suite to develop print media and interactive web-based visuals; OR -Coordinating priorities, addressing customer concerns or managing the day to day operations of visual analysis/production/information design. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
