This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of Public Buildings Service (PBS) Financial Services (BR). As a Budget Analyst, you will be responsible for the full range of review and analysis functions in the formulation, presentation, and execution of assigned budgetary appropriations.
Location of position: GSA, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Kansas City, MO; Fort Worth, TX; Washington, DC; Denver, CO and Philadelphia, PA
Duties
This position has job functions that must be executed within specific geographic locations. The official duty station is a federal facility, leased space, or an alternative worksite (typically the employee’s home) within the specified geographic area. You will be expected to report to a specific GSA duty location at least one or more days a pay period depending upon the terms of the agency’s telework policy.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
The GS-09 salary range starts at $60,905 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience determining whether obligations, expenditures and allotments are within funding limitations of an approved budget; compiling, analyzing and making corrective entries to income, operating expenses, and budget; compiling and organizing large amounts of information; and producing documents, forms, and correspondence. OR Education: A master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related.
The GS-11 salary range starts at $73,690 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes experience in budget formulation, presentation, and execution; and utilizing knowledge or skill in applying related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods, and techniques of budgeting. OR Education: PhD or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
The GS-12 salary range starts at $88,324 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes experience in budget formulation, presentation, and execution; and utilizing knowledge or skill in applying related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods, and techniques of budgeting. There is no substitution of education at the GS-12 grade level.
