As a Personnel Security Specialist (Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator), you will:

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: One year of experience in the next lower pay band NQ-02/GS-12 equivalent, which demonstrates an advanced knowledge regarding personnel security principles related to quality reviews, training, procedures and techniques, conduct of surveys and self-assessments for a personnel security program or related field. Prior experience as a trainer or a similar position with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: Position Classification Standards for Security Administration Series, GS-0080 Time-In-Grade/Band: Current federal employees must meet time-in-grade/pay band requirements to be eligible for consideration. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade/band any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade/pay band requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For an NQ-03 position you must have served 52 weeks as a NQ-02 or GS-12 or equivalent. The grade /pay band may have been in any occupation and must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade/pay band eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide additional SF-50s that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade/pay band. We will not make assumptions that this requirement has been met.
