As a Personnel Security Specialist (Quality Assurance and Training Coordinator), you will:

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: One year of experience in the next lower pay band NQ-02/GS-12 equivalent, which demonstrates an advanced knowledge regarding personnel security principles related to quality reviews, training, procedures and techniques, conduct of surveys and self-assessments for a personnel security program or related field. Prior experience as a trainer or a similar position with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills

Time-In-Grade/Band: Current federal employees must meet time-in-grade/pay band requirements to be eligible for consideration. Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade/band any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade/pay band requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. For an NQ-03 position you must have served 52 weeks as a NQ-02 or GS-12 or equivalent. The grade /pay band may have been in any occupation and must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade/pay band eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide additional SF-50s that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade/pay band. We will not make assumptions that this requirement has been met. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
