You will serve as an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST in the Office of the Department of the Navy (DON) Chief Information Officer (CIO) of DONCHIEFINFORMO WASHINGTON DC.
Duties
You will oversee and manage various Cyber Security Programs.
You will plan, document, support information system security programs, policies, and procedures.
You will provide analytical and technical advice in the areas of information assurance and security.
You will advise and brief superiors on sensitive policy issues and problems.
You will make recommendations in critical areas and initiate authoritative professional action.
Requirements

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code Information Systems Security Manager, proficiency level Expert the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and DoN policies.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience in cybersecurity, information assurance (risk management framework), and related policies within the DoD and DON.
Experience coordinating Risk Management Framework authorization packages.
Experience performing detailed analyses and provide recommendations to senior leadership on cybersecurity issues.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

Education
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
