THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a SEXUAL ASSAULT PREVENTION AND RESPONSE (SAR WF)-Title 5, Position Description Number T5667000 and is part of the WI JFHQ, Wisconsin National Guard.
This position is in the Exceptive Service "under the authority for Title V, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)"
Duties
Assists victims of sexual assault towards the process of recovery, through advocacy and resource information.
Maintains active liaison with government and non-government organizations to assure adequate coordinated treatment services.
Serves on the BDE State sexual assault prevention and response (SAPR) Case Management team and ensures State SAPR is kept abreast of victim's status/case.
Facilitates or assists in the planning, scheduling, and delivery of sexual assault prevention and response and training for all BDE State personnel, leadership, deploying personnel, and other key functional stakeholders to include annual refresher SAPR training.
Serves as liaison with community agencies and resource providers to implement programs and services regarding advocacy for victims, child behavior management/developmental strategies, communication and family cohesiveness and sexual assault.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences.

Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences.

Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1 year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education or training analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, gathering pertinent data and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; evaluating objectives and develop plans to facilitate the availability and effective utilization of various social science resources. Must have knowledge of the organization and its mission and utilized the organizational staff procedures. Experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of social science program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions.
Experience with sexual assault reporting process and being able to document while coordinating and collaborating with other agencies. Experience handling case management from beginning to finish. Able to create and implement a communication strategy to expand awareness and knowledge of reporting options to leadership. Experience supporting victims and continuity of care regardless of administrative and/or legal action. Experience leading the plan and securing resources for the immediate safety and physical needs of victims. Candidate able to collaborate with various agencies.
