About the Position: Serve as a Lead Human Resources Assistant (Military) for the Directorate of Human Resources, Military Personnel Division at Fort Sill.

Duties

Serves as the LEAD HR ASST (MILITARY) for the In/Out Processing Section and Customer Service sections that provide technical advice and oversees work of borrowed military manpower, contract personnel and GS Civilians. Review all HQDA policy guidance regarding personnel processing; assesses impact on current methods and operations; and develops new implementation procedures. Serve as the Central Clearance Agency manager for the installation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing military personnel data and ensuring accuracy and completeness; examining a wide variety of military personnel records and forms to verify eligibility; utilizing automated military personnel database systems such as: Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS), Real-Time Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS), Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) and Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) to review and update information; preparing a variety of correspondence and reports; and applying military personnel regulations to ensure regulatory compliance and responding to inquiries. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Human Resources Technology UsageMilitaryOral CommunicationTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
