As a Program Analyst at the GS-0343-14, you will be part of CFO Financial Operations Management, Office of Personnel Management. If selected, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistency in how OPM financial projects and systems are planned, budgeted, managed, developed, and controlled throughout their life cycle.

Duties

Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) systems and applications, and related business processes. Use project management principles and tools to provide oversight over system implementation. including design, development, enhancements, testing and development of system functionalities. Serve as a contracting offer representative or program subject matter expert to plan and execute acquisition requirements, monitor work performance, and review and approve deliverables.

Qualifications

For the GS 14: You must have one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-14 grade level in the federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) 1)working with customers to identify systems requirements to improve workflow processes and business operations; 2) Providing feedback to external stakeholders to ensure that systems are available, and services are being implemented effectively; 3) Evaluating performance metrics to assess efficiency and effectiveness for workflow processes. You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
