This position is located in the Division of Administration, Washington, D.C. of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of administrative and management support services and risk management.

Duties
Provides leadership and direction to senior staff on management analysis type projects. Develops customized project plans and standardized reporting mechanisms.
Conducts studies for business process improvement and innovation activities, risk assessments, and compliance reviews conducted by the team and develops recommendations for process improvements.
Develops a risk assessment framework, policies, and methodologies for performing evaluations, reviews, and studies.
Leads a wide variety of corporate-wide and internal organization and management analysis projects and makes recommendations for improving these organizations and their policies, procedures, and operations.
Facilitates the DOA audit resolution program; and works closely with internal and external auditors and DOA program officials to set up and participate in entrance and exit conferences, respond to a wide variety of surveys, audits, and other related reviews, ensure the appropriateness of corrective actions and other audit findings and keeps DOA management apprised.
Prepares written analyses, reports, and memoranda.
Makes presentations to senior management.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 14 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience leading audit reviews and risk assessments of organizational operations to improve policies/procedures in accordance with Office of Management (OMB) circulars and communicating findings to management and external parties such as Government Accountability Office (GAO); the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and other government agencies.
