This position is in the Strategic Planning and Knowledge Management Division, Office of Performance, Planning, and Financial Management, DCTA. The incumbent serves as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for contracts within the Trademark Office, and has responsibilities for planning, directing, analyzing, and implementing a variety of operational, technical, and administrative processes, including procedures, policies, and programs in support of contracting activities.

The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. This position is telework eligible per agency and business unit discretion/policy.

Specialized Experienceis experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-12.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Grade 13:
Experience serving as an advisor related to A-76 contracts, contract regulations and processes;
Experience with planning, directing, analyzing and implementing a variety of operational, technical and administrative processes, procedures, and programs in support of contracting activities.
Grade 14:
Experience serving as an advisor related to A-76 contracts, contract regulations and processes.
Experience with planning, directing, analyzing and implementing a variety of operational, technical and administrative processes, procedures, and programs in support of contracting activities
Experience with implementing new or modified legislation which impacts the contract examination processes and systems
Experience as a COR, responsible for the administration, management, and oversight of the development, maintenance, and operational efficiency and effectiveness of Trademark contracts.
